Feeling damn terrible!!! =(

September 27th, 2006 by proftee

Feel so terrible today, thanx to this stupid old man in charge of table tennis in HELP uni. I was asked to represent HELP in next wk MAPCU inter college table tennis tournament. And this stupid old man told me that i will definately be in the team, at that time, i m one of the best female player in HELP. Recently, they found another girl which was ex-national player and today he get this girl fr China. No doubt both of them is better than me. So when i saw them, i knew that i became unimportant in the team, is like with both of them, is more than enough adi. This stupid old man didnt even tell me how he going to place all of us, who is going to be reserve and stuff, but fr the way he arrange things, i knew that i m going to be the person being sacrificed. I m actually ok with all this (but he should at least tell me rite, rather than simply find me some stupid arrangement). But guess how this stupid old man treat me, he simply give me a partner (which is not that good) and ask me to play double with her, the reason being no one else is free to play with the men double he intending to train. This one still a bit ok, but i already feel damn uncomfortable. Next, guess what that fucker did. He asked me to partner this ex-national player, when i was preparing to play, he ask another guy come and partner with the ex-national player and guys, u know wat he told me, "shiau sang, wan to play go the other table (knowing that the other table is occupied), let them play here". After listening to this, i feel like telling him, "stupid asshole, u think i wat, when u dun need me, kick me one side is it". At that moment, i feel like i m was "abandoned", i was used that this stupid idiot, when he dun need me, kick me one side. This NEVER happened in my ping pong life for so many yrs. Another factor contributing to my feeling might be bcoz if i m going to UK next yr, this game will be my final match, i take this seriously, i actually train so hard for this, and this is wat i get. I will rmb ths forever.

So now i m re-considering if i should go for MAPCU next week, but i knew that i will NEVER play pingpong for HELP anymore.

And for those joining MAPCU, especially Inti College Subang Jaya, i give my full support to all of u, if u need any info on HELP team, i will PROVIDE u with the BEST!!! BEAT them, even though i m still in the team (as a reserve), i cant be bothered.

Last trip before Year 2 begins - Penang

September 14th, 2006 by proftee

haha, so happy, Yr 2 going to start soon, but before that, need to enjoy first. I guess i will not have time anymore for all this in Yr 2. Going to Penang wif my INTI friends, hooi shyan and sue ann, haha…I think i went to Penang when i was young, but i got no idea at all on that place.

On 15/9/06, we took 0515 bus to Penang, this was the first time i took bus from Puduraya, yuks, i dun like Puduraya, so dirty, crowded. The driver drove so slow, so damn bored during the 5 hrs journey, was sleeping most of the time, haha!!! We reached Penang at about 2230. Penang bus station is so much cleaner than KL one, haha!!! Hooi Shyan’s godmother came to pick us up and bring us for dinner/supper. My stomach wasnt feeling well that day, so i choose some food with soup. I ordered this fish head noodle which doesnt taste like fish head noodle to me at all, more like normal mee hoon soup (but still it doesnt taste nice). Even the fried oyster i ate there doesnt taste nice (taste different fr KL one), KL one is much better…haha!!! We went back to Hooi Shyan godmother apartment after that, nothing to do, so me and sue ann watched "American Pie", hehe…=P

The next day, we actually planned to go to Penang Hill to see sun rise, but we oni woke up at 9, haha, Hooi Shyan and her godmother wasnt awake yet, so me and sue ann continue with our "American Pie", haha!!! Our first destination was "Kek Lok Si". The templer looks so, ermm, i dunno wat word should i use to describe, ermm, grand?magnificent? especially the "Kuan Yin", it was huge, but the surrounding is still under construction. In order to see the "Kuan Yin", we need to take a "inclined lift", it is like a cable car, haha!!! We pray in Kek Lok Si, my jostick on fire, nearly burn a small part of it, hehe, i also dunno y, scared me oni. After that, we went for lunch, just eat mixed rice (KL one still better) nearby. After that, we went back to take my camera, cozz sue ann wan running out of battery.

Then we went to Penang Hill, waited for the train for so damn long, then so many people fit into that small train heading toward the top of the hill, so slow sumore, so stuffy inside, feel like dying adi. But at the top of Penang Hill, the weather was so nice (but the weather in Genting when i visited is much better, haha). Get to see half of the Penang island fr the top, nice view.

After that we drop by Youth Park for a walk when we are on the way to Gurney Plaza, hehe, so many games there, like outdoor gym oni, haha!!! Then we went to Gurney Plaza la, look nice, but of course not as good as KL shopping mall, but is much better than expectation, haha. We ate at the hawker stall outside Gurney Plaza, lots of good, make me take so long to decide wat to eat. Since many people said Penang Friend Kuey Teow nice, so i tried although i dun really like it. Ermm, still normal oni, KL can easily get such standard, hehe!!! Near the hawker stall there is some DVD stall, the DVD was cheaper than KL, but this stupid seller con my friend, say "Little Man" clear, clear his head la, no courtesy, con people. In Summit USJ, DVD seller dun do such things, not clear they will tell.

Then we went home, haha, watch dvd again, but is really tired that day, walk for the whole day adi, Penang all places also walk walk walk wan, haiyo, sienz!!! Go to bed at about 0030, but talking to sue ann until about 0230 oni we slept, so end up wake up at 1120 the next morning, hahaha, by the time cant go anywhere adi, need to pack and go home adi, haha, anyway, hooi shyan godmother need to go to church, cant fetch us anywhere also, and my friend Hooi Shyan, as a Penangite, she said she dunno where to bring us to, haha, she said she is born in Penang, her house, and bred in her house, seldom go other placed, hehe…so basically the whole trip is her godmother being our driver/tourguide. Thanx a lot to her, bring us around sumore pay everything for us… =) We took 1400 bus and came back to KL.

Basically, i think Penang is quite boring, not as interesting as wat some Penangites said. The food is not up to expectation, just normal oni, KL food especially Mama’s Bar food is so much nicer, haha!!! So, for those Penangites, dont complain so much on KL food, not that it is not nice, just that u guys dunno where to get nice one!!! =P

Working Experiences!!!

September 6th, 2006 by proftee

Finally, i finish my working life. Tired, tired, tired, is time for me to rest and prepare myself for yr2. I can feel the stress that i m going to sustain in yr 2 by now, very scary. After working for 4 months, I realise that i love studying so much more compare to working, haha…

Basically, i started working since sem3, cozz we hv nothing much to do, so i went to work after class 2-3 days a weeks. Worked in the first law firm, Lai, Yoong & Rita for about 4 months (but only part time, 3 days a week). Then, in the last month of my break, i shifted to another firm, Anuar Hong & Ong. I have experienced totally different things in this 2 firms, different people, different environment, different ways of handling work and so on.

Lai, Yoong & Rita is a traditional firm, is long established but is a small firm. This firm use pc that operate solely by the keyboard, no mouse, haha, is the type that i used about 10 yrs ago, haha!!!Luckily, they have one with microsoft office for us, youngsters, hehe!!!Even though it is a small firm, i think i learn so much in this firm. I didnt expect a lawyer to explain every document i typed in details. But my boss, Ms. Lai, actually tell me the reason behind every letters. I m glad that i worked in this firm. And one thing i see in the lawyer here, they are so independent, my other boss, she actually photostat herself even when she see i so damn free and sit there doing nothing. She even vacum the floor herself if the cleaner didnt go on that day.

The average age of the staff here is about 40-50, most of them work for that firm for about 20-30 years adi, so they are damn experienced, so most of my question is well answered. But bcoz they are so experienced, they expect the same standard from me, so i get scolded quite often for small little mistake, mostly careless mistake, typo error, hehe!!! I still remember those aunt like to scold me this way when i make careless mistake "do slow slow la, dun do so fast", but i feel like, if a staff in a big firm work so slow, can close la that firm, haiyo, always ask me to do slowly!!!

The type of work i get exposed to in this firm was typing some standard document, Sale & Purchase Agreement, Tenancy Agreement, will (i m more interested in this 3), and some accounting job (i hate this, it was so damn bored, and the accountant things is really in a mess, make me clean up her mess oni).

Lets talk about my experience in Anuar Hong & Ong, this is one out of 7 of the branches of the firm, is a bigger firm and is more modern la, at least they use microsoft office.Nothing much about the boss here, bcozz i only met his less than 10times since i worked there. He needs to visit so many of his branches, so he oni will be in our branch once a week. He dun deal with lawyer’s job, he oni socialise and get client for his firms. But the way he tok to people was quite funny la, he hv a habit of repeating every word/phrase wan la, for eg. "hello, good afternoon, very good afternoon, happy afternoon", "okokok", "no prob, no prob, no prob" . And he like to give compliment in such a way where every reasonable person listening to it will think that it is damn fake, hahaha!!! But he is generous la, haha, on the first week of my work here, he treat all the staff including me lunch in Sans Francisco Steakhouse, delicious!!! But seriously, i rather eat mixed rice, cozz eating with boss in nice restaurant, is really tension, i feel so weird, then everyone should know la, i m not that gentle wan, in front of boss and manager, have to pretend pula, so damn difficult la…

This branch i working at is basically operate by the manager and a lawyer, coz this is a new branch, and the office is temporary while waiting for the new office to get ready, still renovating. The average age of the staff here are younger la, about 30-40, they are less experienced, my question is badly answered, for eg. when i asked the manager wat is "Perfection of charge", guess wat is her answer, she said "Perfect the charge la", i asked another staff hoping to get better answer, she tell me the same, stupid wan, might as well dun answer me. Here, the lawyer rarely tok to me, basically jobs are given to me by the manager.

In this firm, the work i did is like typing docs, look for files, photostat…

Basically that is for all, i dunno whether all these experiences will help me in the future, but it is better than sitting at home doing nothing. By comparing this 2 firms, i can come to some conclusions. Working in a small firm, there is more interaction with lawyers, she can explain everything to u, let u hv a clearer pic. In big firm, if i hv any question, i can oni ask the staff or manage, lawyer dun really layan wan.

Another difference, in a small firm, i have more chance to deal with more challenging work, u guys know wat, i dun really need to photostat, pick up calls in small firm, i need to handle more important work, make me feel more important oni, ahha!!!One more thing, smaller firm pay me double the salary in big firm, haha. Many people asked me y so stupid go and shift to a more work and less pay firm. I m not stupid, just that i wan to hv more exposure, or else how can i come to these conclusion. And of course, more importantly, i wan to include a big firm in my resume, haha!!!

okla, end of my working life temporarily, i m well prepared for classes, haha, Year 2, here i comes, cant wait adi, one more wk oni…=)

“Teenagers” Genting Trip!!!

August 25th, 2006 by proftee

Img_0302 We (tee tee, teh teh and tong tong) went to Genting Highlands on 19/8/2006. This is our first trip since we knew each others in Form 3…haha, all u guys fault, always busy, terrible…hmph!!! This is basically a trip for us to enjoy our teens before we attain the age of 20, haha, thats y we played all the childish games la, haha, i am not the only one who is childish ok, u guys dun pretend matured…haha!!!

Route: breakfast in tong tong’s house (i so nice, bought breakfast for both of them) —> KL sentral —> Terminal Putra (took a bus from there) —> Genting Img_0282 Skyways (This was the first time i took a cable car, tot it will be scary but in fact it was so fun, haha, ei, both of u, stop holding my arm so tightly when it is going up ok, blue black adi la)—> Theme Park —> return to KL —> Mid Valley (accompany my doink tong tong to so called pooh fair in mid valley exhibition hall [as if it is damn big])

I realise that Malaysia actually have such cooling place, nvr expect that, haha, Genting was so cooling, cooler than sitting under the air-cond (i heard fr some friend that Genting isnt that cooling all the time, so i think we were damn lucky Img_0290la). Upon arrival, we played "bumper boat", waited for more than half an hr, is fun but teh teh had bad luck, get a lousy boat, cant move, smoke came out, haha!!! Then we went out for lunch, wahh, genting food really damn expensive la, RM 12 for a sizzling mee, next time bring food there better (tong tong cook, i dun care, u owe me a meal cooked by urself)!!!

After lunch, we went for a "slide ride" (aiya, tong tong, teh teh, i cant rmb the Img_0297 name for those ride, fill up for me plzz). After that we played Img_0300 merry-go-round, haha, this girl controlling the ride look at me and smile, like nvr seen "adult" play Img_0299 merry-go-round oni, cheh, but i also tak tau malu wan, asked her to take photo for us sumore, haha!!!Then we played this "swing", again i dun rmb wat this ride called, but i rmb during the Euro fun fair in 1-utama, i dun dare to played this, haha, the speed of this ride plus the weather in Genting on that day, we get goosebumps, haha!!! Then me and tong tong bought ice-cream, gaining weight la, haih…cant help it when i m with tong tong, all ur fault…haha!!!

Img_0318After that we went to Dinosaurland, it is actually a boat ride (a ride which is slower than walking), haha!! When the boat reaImg_0328ched a cave, got story telling sumore, "History of dinosaur", hahah!!!On top of the Dinosaurland, C there was this black statue (tong tong love it so much, fall in love with it on the first sight), haha, dun ask me to do stupid things to the statue, ok?

Thats actually all we did for the day, didnt stay overnight coz it was a school holiday, all the hotel fully booked, tong tong, teh teh, we must arrange for some trip where we can stay overnight wan, k? Anyway, i enjoyed the trip, wat about u guys??

                                 Always Together, Friends Forever!!!

(tong tong, i got this phrase fr the lousy pooh fair advertisement in the newspaper, i hope this apply to us, hehe!!!)

(so, teh teh, happy or not, finally i wrote something about u on my blog, deleted those unnecessary and unimportant person adi, haha?? how u going to thank me?)

On the next day, i went to theme park again, this time i went to times square one, haha!!! I went with my cousin, ranging from 2 yr old to 10 yr old, haha, can imagine wat kind of games can i play?? I went to the area for child, play all the game which is as slow as walking, like the too-too-train, car ride, accompany my cousin sister to the playground there (she play slide and i stand there and look), and merry-go-round again, hahaha, not that i love it, but i love accompanying my cute cousin sister, she said "I love u" to me that day, so cute, she is only 3 yrs old!!! Oh ya, i m too bored with all the games and i went for bumper car alone, haha, i didnt get to play this in Genting, so happy i get a chance to play here, but not that great la, played alone, haha!!!

My next trip will be Penang, tentatively on 15/16 sept to 17 sept, provided that our  Dr. Chan got no appointment…haha!!! =P

Goodbye grandma, love u and miss u forever!!!

July 17th, 2006 by proftee

10 On 10/7/2006, i received a call from my dad at about 10am while i was at work saying that "come home immediately, grandma no longer here". I was so shocked at that moment, i thought i hUntitledeard wrongly, in fact i HOPE i heard wrongly. So we went back to grandma place. When i was in the car, i wish that we dont reach so soon. I m scared,i dont wan  and i dunno how to face the fact that grandma leave us.

When we reached, friends and sibling there was preparing eveything for the funeral. I saw grandma lying on the bed covered by a red cloth. When my uncle open the red cloth and asked us to "tell" grandma that we were back, my tears started falling, i feel so sad.

All sorts of ceremony went on for 3 days 3 nights such as praying, burning "gold and money" for grandma, relatives and those from different association came to pay their last respect. One touching part will be that a band was invited to sing the song "Mum, u r the BEST in the world" in front of my grandma coffin, again my tears fell. Grandma, u r really the best mum and grandma to all of us, love u lots. Burying ceremony was held on 13/7/2006, the moment when the coffin was closed, my tears fall again, i can NVR see grandma anymore, i miss u a lot, grandma!!!

The greatest regret i had at that point was that i cant see u before u leave, in fact i planned to visit u on that sat, but sadly, u leave before i get to visit u, i m so sorry, grandma, i should have visit u the week before, i m so sorry, forgive me. Another regret will be that i cant burn "gold and money" for all days when the ceremony going on because of period (i hate being a girl), and i, as an eldest granddaughter cant even hold the "yu nu" doll on the day of ur burying ceremony (because old folks think that all this will create encumbrance for u). God bless u, grandma!!!

For those who are reading this blog, i would like to let u guys know how good my grandma is. My grandma will give priority to all her children and grandchildren all the time. Whenever there was good food, she will give6_1  it to us, she herself will oni take the remaining one. She love sharing everything with all her friends and relative as well. Whenever she cooked, she will share with everyone, and of course everything she cooked for us will have additional ingredient. My grandma is also a strong women. She got diagnosed with last stage cancer middle of last year, but she manage to fight for a year. I still remember last year, July, we thought that she is leaving us (she cant even recognise nor tok to us that time) and we actually prepared for everthing, but she didnt. After that she getting better, can tok and joke with us again (thank god, at least i got back the chance to tok to her). Finally, after a year, she leave!!!

11 Grandma, u mean a lot to me, just that i m not use to express my love, but i wan to let u know that I LOVE U a lot, miss u a lot!!! Thinking of those time when u were here, loving me so much, i m glad and proud to have u as my grandma, love u!!! Grandma, u r forever in my life, in my mind!!! Rest in peace….

"Ah ma, wo ai ni, hen xiang ni, xi wang xia yi shi hai ke yi zhuo ni de shun nu!!! An xi ba, Ah ma!!!"

July 4th, 2006 by proftee

4th July 2005 is one of the important day in my life!!! This was the day i started pusuing my law degree!!! This was the day that brought me and many of my close 18_4 friends together, i am glad to know them. Let me list down some of them, lang pui yin, elycia ongko, yap hon wai, jason lim shyang14  ming, basically u can call us Click 6 or the "de 13 family", hehe!!! This was also the day where i met many idiots, not about to list them down, spoilt my blog!!! But these were idiot which i never met in my life before, some of them like to act smart, like pretend to study, go library damn often or they love interupting for every topic discussed in the class, as if they knew about it, but in fact they dont. Luckily, no need to see most of them in year 2. I need to stress one thing here, reading law is really fun, not like wat most people thought, it is definately not a boring subject.

Let me list down some of special events in the past one year!!!

huh, i m so damn bored, can anyone tell me what can i do during this 3 months holidays!!!i have nothing to write actually, but my "boredness" brought me here, from a blog that wrote about me and my bestest friend to a blog about me and my interesting close friends in uni to a blog to crap today, can u guys feel how bored am i??Even though holiday oni began today, but in the semester that just passed, since it is not examinable, we do not need to study, and classes r not compulsory as well, but i m such a hardworking student, nvr skip any classes before, better than joon kee la, even he skipped some of the classes…haha!!!so basically for me, my holiday started last sem, meaning it started 2 months ago, wahh, meaning i m having a 5 months holiday, i better go and kill myself, how to survive for another 3 months!!!really feel like dying adi.

My first year law degree ended yesterday, finished part of the tough route. There are so many things that happened in this year, interesting one, sad one, dissapointing one, happy one….etc!!!When i first entered the class, DIL July 2005, there were about 45 students, get to know lots of interesting friend, though there are weird one as well, of course not forgetting some of the idiots in the class. I think first sem is the best, though i hate large class, bcozz i m too used to one to one classes when i was doing my A-Level in INTI, but there are pro (one of it was that i get to know many nice friends like lang lang, hon wai, ongko, etc) and cons (less interaction btw student and lecturer, i miss INTI a lot) for everything. But sem 1 definately filled with most laughter. I have one bad feeling for HELP DIL July 2005, i think there was a curse on us that those who are really nice and close to us seems to left one by one, those who left us include: Elyna, Pui Yin, Shalini, Yi Ling & Taffany. It must be those idiots in the class get jealous with our closeness and jealous bcoz we have big gang but they dun have, so they curse us, curse that we will be separated, huh….this were the saddest thing that happened in Year 1. Obviously happy events were so much more than sad event, hehe!!!The best thing we did is GOSIPPING, our class got too many things to gossip about, haha, u guys should know wat i toking about rite?Of course reading law is really interesting, not like wat layman think, the subject is not dry, not boring, is fun especially mooting, i love it, but excluding exam ok. Dissapointing event i dun feel like toking about it.

Everyone already went back to their hometown by now, left with pui yin and hon wai only, haih…lang lang, "jia you", we will give u moral support, so dun give up, u can do it, we will be having class together again very soon!!honwai, do well in ur "xxxxxx research", u will be an expert in that field, haha!! After Pui Yin exam, we go and play la, go ipoh, sing "my hump", then go penang, visit jason, wondering if penang is really good as he described, but i know, i will definately love subang more, haha!!! =P
